Since your friendly Family Site of the Day host will be camping with the Boy Scouts this weekend and this site will be here while I am roughing it, I thought it would be nice to feature a site that I feel can and is truly making a difference in the world today. Not only is it doing it on the Internet, but it is doing it in the lives of the people who visit it.
The name of the site is called Global Christian Network, an organization whose mission is to provide for and build the global Christian community. The statement of faith really says it better than I could ever hope to:
“GCN exists to provide a Christian, family based services to everyone. GCN is committed to the Word of God through the Bible and God’s son, (the Word) Jesus Christ. GCN is open to anyone of any faith or non-faith. While our community of people is often made up of Christians from all denominations, races and countries, many non-believers regularly visit and use our services. Many have accepted the Christ right in the community! ”
